Welcome to our Koala Library

Our Kathy Binks' librarian, Mrs. Crockett, has worked in the district and at Kathy Binks since 2012.  She previously worked at a high school library and a public library.  You could say she has books in her blood.

The library is open to students before school during Walk and Talk daily and during first recess (M, T, TH, F) to return and check out library books.  Students (with their adult) may come to the library after school until 3:25 to return and check out books.  They are allowed to check out up to 5 extra books (with their adult's approval), in addition to the books they check out with their class. 

Students can access the library catalog through the app in Classlink called Destiny Discover (the icon is a lightbulb).  If they log onto the app (user name and password are the same as those used to log onto their laptop), students can see what books are available, place holds on books, see what they have checked out- both library materials and textbooks-and which of their books on hold are ready to pick up. Students may also post reviews of the books they have read on Destiny Discover.  Destiny Discover Home
